do you replace air conditioning drip pan in the cieling
In my condo, there is a air conditioning drip pan in the cieling, that is leaking. I think it needs a new pan. I got it replaced 2 years ago and it looks like it s corroded again. I am thinking to put a plastic one this time so it won't corrode again. Please let me know if you guys do this kind of work. Pan dimension are approx: 50"x12"x2". Please let me know. Thanks
Plastic is preferred. My question is why is your secondary pan filling up with water? The air handler drain pan has a primary drain and a secondary outlet. When the primary drain is clogged the water level rises and comes out of the secondary drain. I have installed float safety switches on the secondary outlet to shut off the unit and prevent water damage to the area. If this pan is a secondary, have your problem fixed first. Grainger does not do on site work.
yes. It is available at most hvac supply stores. A major note here. You are not only dealing with a different Freon but also a new type of oil. You really need new hoses so you don't mix oils. You may get by with it, but if you are working on a car it may cause problems
sounds like a condenser fan motor for a higher efficacy unit. Most universal replacement motors that are close to 850 rpm are reversible. The 5.0 mfd is for the capacitor. Any supply house that sells to the public will have one. Just pay attention to the wiring diagram.

I live in a garage. No windows. Is there any kind of air conditioner that I could get to keep me cool without any windows?
Your options are limited. A portable 12,000 btu unit runs off 120 volts and needs a 6 inch hole for the heat exhaust duct to vent outside. They run about $500.

Do you have a line voltage thermistate for a ductless air conditioning system?
a water treatment like the one you mentioned or an additive that contains a lubricant for the seals and bearings. It also helps keep down oxidation on internal parts. Either is available at johnstone supply or maybe grainger
EUTECSIL 1020XFC is one kind of silver alloy you can use. It is tough to braze anything to stainless and it be very durable. Ice machines have vibrations during it's normal cycle that tend to crack a brazing weld. Tig may be your best bet
