in hole saw

No, not a "hole" saw. Tried to google the answer but all I got was picture of hole saw bits.

I need to cut a piece of PVC pipe that is in a hole in the ground. the hole the PVC is in, is a circle with about an 8 inch diameter, surrounded by a metal casing.
potentially something that has a cutting head 90 degrees from the shaft of the tool. It also needs to be battery powered.

got anything like that?
Do you need to make another hole in the pipe, or are you just trying to cut it off flat? If the later is true. I recommend a battery operated Dremel tool with a saw blade on it. Works great for getting in those hard to reach areas.

Looking for a tool to magnetize screwdriver tips

Any good strong magnet will work...even an old sub-woofer magnet. or you can use one of those nail finder tools, works great, the stronger the better.
