Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy to install, works great & charges quickly. Charged a completely dead iPod in about 1hr. Did not get a chance to meter the USB output, but seems to be as fast as a standard wall charger. Best part is no longer having to keep adapters around for every type of device I own, straight to USB. Plan to buy several more and might even re-do the entire building with them.
Product FeaturesEasy to use, Durable/Performs well

Need a piggy plug/switch so a remote fan can be turned on at plug.

Have a fan on top of bath cabinet that I have plugged in at bathroom sink outlet. Want to be able to turn it on/off at the plug without having to climb a latter and turn it on/off at fan.
Check out 2x547, feed thru switch. Only good for 3A, but is a basic feed thru switch if your fan is two wire, it should work.
