Replacement for Emerson 1/2 hp WHF motor

The motor in our 24" whole house fan died. It is a 1/2 hp Emerson. I believe the numbers are S60CXLG5067. It is 8.9/5.0 amps. We rarely use it on high, too much airflow. We are thinking that we may replace it with a less powerful 1/3 hp fan. The rpms are the same. Seems your 24" and even larger fans use a 1/3 hp motor. I sure would appreciate the energy savings if I could get away with the smaller motor. Can you think of any reason why I'd need a 1/2 hp motor like 6K394? Thanks.
If your original motor was a two speed then the lower speed was likely a lower HP as well. It is logical that a lower speed and lower HP motor may work for you. We suggest giving us a call and speak with our Motors Technical Team so we can discuss your solution. 1-800-Grainger.

Structural Anchoring Adhesive, 2-Part Acrylic, Curing Time 30 min., Mixing Ratio 10:1, Mixing Steps Use Static Mixing Nozzle, Temp. Range Min 0 F, Container Type Cartridge, Container Size 10 Oz., Fast Setting, Low Temperature, For Structural Anchoring With Threaded Rod Anchoring or Rebar Doweling, Application Time 5 to 7 min., For Use With Threaded Rod and Rebar, Meets/Exceeds ASTM C881, Includes 4XGE8 Nozzle

I have a metal threaded rod that goes into a wood bar and the threads are gone do you think this will work.

This material will stick well to any clean threaded rod with damaged threads. The pull strength will be reduced based on the amount of thread damage and the wood surface condition.

Grainger Item #: 6PFG5
Belly Band Moutning Kits, For NEMA Frame 48, Motor Body Dia. 1/4 X 1-3/4 In., Ring Dia. 11 In.

What is meant by the ring diameter

The blower on my furnace has a 12" wheel. The hole pattern for the 3 mounting bolts is just over 11" but not 12" in diameter. which mount should I use for a 3LU87G motor.
The (3) bolt circle is 11" on this motor mount. With the rubber bushings included, there is a little leadway. It sounds like this is the correct one for your bolt circle.

There are 4 holes in it. There are two 90 degrees to the other two. Drill 2 holes for the orientation that works for your location. Install screws. Attach two wires 12 - 48VDC with a switch or tie into a reverse light circuit with a relay. Consider a fuse for safety.
