I got this light as a gift. I LOVE IT!! It's compact, has a good heft(weight# to it. I use it at work and home. #and when I check my buddies night vision, haha) Its VERY bright. 69 lumens Most of the other lights I looked at this size were only aboout 12-20 lumens and were cheaply made. This particular light is well made and very well worth the price, when Grainger has them in stock. My girlfriend said its so popular that they had it TIED to the counter so it wouldn't walk away! haha
Product FeaturesEasy to use, Great value for money, High Quality, Durable/Performs well

I am looking for lighting options to put in our barn that is effecient, but bright.

The lights will be installed approximately 18' above the barn floor. The barn is approximately 30X40, and is not heated. We are also looking for lighting for our garage, which is a 2 1/2 car garage with approximately a 12' to 14' ceiling.
They're a little pricey, but have you thought about LED light fixtures. I installed them in a new shed I built. they havent seemed to have an inpact on my electricity bill and I leave them on all the time

I HAVE AN OLD HOUSE WITH HANGING WHITE GLOBE PORCH LIGTHING HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE BULB.

there should be set/retainer screws around the globe. Just loosen them and you should have access to the bulbs.

Are there conversion kits available to convert a 8 foot t12 fixture to a t5/ho bulbs.

All you have to do is change out the ballast and the tombstones(bulb connectors). It may be just as cheap to change the whole fixture. You can get the parts at Grainger or Teche electric.
